"Agriculture: a pivotal challenge for mankind"
break new ground
of plenary sessions and workshops
Agriculture can provide countless solutions to today’s global challenges. Whether issues mankind faces are demographic, environmental, energy, social, economic or geopolitical, we need to think outside the box and across the board to come up with ground-breaking new ways to produce and consume food.
For the first time ever, an international, multidisciplinary forum is addressing how agriculture can play a vital role by putting it at the heart of issues the world currently faces, given that so many other benefits flow from agriculture to society.
The Planet A® Forum will call on the expertise and responsibilities of each and every participant – 350 experts, companies, local authorities, senior politicians and so on, with a view to coming away with tangible pledges and game-changing suggestions, which will be put together in an “Open Book” and presented in major international conferences such as One Planet Summit, COP24, and G20 Agricultural Ministries, so as to fuel debate at the highest level.
The Planet A® International Agriculture Forum is apolitical and was developed in partnership with the Jean Jaurès Foundation, Fondapol and other global think-tanks. This initiative is sponsored under the high patronage of the President of the Republic.
