Fatoumata BA is administrator, investor and entrepreneur, currently founder and CEO of Janngo, the #1 tech for good in Africa. Janngo is supported by the Mulliez family, Clipperton Finance and Soeximex, also by African philanthropists. At Jumia, the first African unicorn, she was the founder and managing director of the platform in Côte d'Ivoire, managing director in Nigeria and member of the executive committee at continental level, running the performance of more than 130 operations through Africa, covering more than 10 jobs, in over 30 countries, with more than 3,000 direct jobs and more than 70, 000 indirect jobs created and developed opportunities for more than 500,000 middle-sized companies through Africa. She is passionate by technological leapfrogging in Africa, in particular when it’s about female entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment, the growth and formalization of middle-sized companies, together with by solving health and education problems via Medtech and Edtech. She is a board member at SouthBridge Investment Bank, a member of the investment committee of Creadev Africa and of the Council of Women in Africa.
