About URCA

Since the nineties, the research around agricultural and wine agro-resources i.e., their production, their transformation and their non-food valorization has developed within Reims Champagne-Ardenne University (URCA), thanks to the works from research units in biology, microbiology, soil and environment, sciences, chemistry, human and social sciences and digital and engineering sciences. These activities involve around 200 researchers at the university and enable us to offer trainings of excellence to our students.

Since January 2018, as the leader of the network of establishments of higher education (ESR) and research in Champagne-Ardenne area, l’URCA has largely contributed to the first conception elements of the Training Institute in agriculture and now associates its partners from ESR network to this inclusive and federative action serving territorial dynamism around agriculture and bioeconomy.
